The specials are truly special here. Tuesday's special is usually fried chicken: done to perfection, with two sides and a drink for a very low price. This place handled my party of 12 with ease and everyone left full and happy. This inn is worth the side trip to Elberfeld to enjoy!

Had a business trip up here and needed a place to work a bit then have lunch. The lady there was great and served me coffee for an hour or so before I ordered lunch. I had the fried German bologna sandwich and homemade chips and it was awesome. I visited the local butcher that made the bologna afterward.

A diner in a small town with good food. The best frog legs I've had since my son's caught some. Fresh, juicy, and hot! The rest of my group enjoyed their handmade cheese burgers and fresh fried chicken. Great jump off the road.

Nice little bar with a family room as well. Draft, bottled, can beer options. Full bar, fried chicken on Tuesday and Sundays usually. Specials on Friday and Saturday night rotate weekly between: pork steak or smoked half chicken, prime rib, fish or frog legs. My favorites are the steak sandwich and the frog legs tossed in buffalo sauce . Brings a decent crowd for dinner on the weekends and music every so often. Friendly staff and service.

Great service! Friendly servers. Great food! Tuesday lunch special - fried chicken & 2 sides 7.99. Homemade pies or cake. Consistently and Always good. Relaxed Atmosphere!

I had the country fried stake and man it was SOOO GOOD!! I don’t know if I have ever tried country fried stake. It may have been the BEST meal I have ever had really the stake let alone and that is really saying something!! A must try that is for sure!! …
